Mr. Todd Spitzer has been involved with aviation since 1999. As a FAA Licensed Part 121 Dispatcher, Mr. Spitzer worked in the System Operations Control Center for both Skyway Airlines and America West Airlines, holding joint 50/50 responsibility with the Captain for the safety and flight planning of over 100 flights per day. Mr. Spitzer was involved with coordinating flight operations as the events of September 11, 2001 unfolded and was pivotal in resuming flight operations in the weeks thereafter.
In April 2004, Mr. Spitzer transitioned to private aviation and in 2005 met Richard Sitomer co-founder of Blue Star Jets and became a broker for the firm.
Having previously managed offices for Blue Star Jets in Scottsdale and Los Angeles, Mr. Spitzer is creating a new team of aviation professionals dedicated to expanding Blue Star Jets brand and vision internationally.
Mr. Spitzers aviation career was preceded by an extensive public service backgound as a Firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician. Staying true to his roots, Mr. Spitzer has assisted in rescue efforts in NYC post 9/11 and maintains involvement as an EMT Crew Chief for Wisconsin's largest EMS service providing 911 prehospital care in Milwaukee, WI.
When he is not working, you will most likely find him at least 20 miles in the Arizona desert hiking or panning for gold. Blackberry still in hand.
All flights are operated by Part 135 Carriers. Operators providing service for BlueStar Jets clients must meet standards set forth by the FAA for safety, security and service. BlueStar Jets does not own, manage or operate aircraft. As an air charter broker, Blue Star Jets acts as an agent for our clients seeking charter air transportation and assists them in finding the best operators for each private air charter.
