For those who would rather spend their day on the sand than non the Long Island Expressway, Blue Star Jets is now offering the Hamptons Heli-Card. The card offers 10 one-way helicopter trips for $26,500, a discount of $350 per flight. With three helicopters located in both Manhattan and the Hamptons, Heli-Card members can skip the Friday rush, hop on a helicopter, head to the Hamptons, and be back to work by Monday. "This is primarily for people who work in the city and summer in the Hamptons," says Blue Star Jets representative Ryan Auer, who expects the service to become very popular come Memorial Day weekend. Competitors to Blue Star include U.S. Helicopter and Sound Aircraft Services, which both also offer whirlybirds to the Hamptons.
